Privacy at Vibziq
Last updated: September 16, 2026.
You can take personality quizzes without creating an account. During a normal quiz, your answer choices are processed in your browser to calculate a result.
Friend challenges
If you create a friend challenge, we store the nickname you provide, the quiz and result associated with the challenge, and a random challenge identifier.
For a Who knows me? challenge, we also store the answer choices you selected in that quiz so friends can try to guess them. Those stored choices are used to calculate the friend score on our server and are not returned in the public challenge response. Friends see the same questions, but your selected answers are not revealed while they play.
When a friend participates, we may store the nickname they provide and their final challenge score so a leaderboard can be displayed. Their individual guesses are used to calculate the score and are not shown on the public leaderboard.
Technical data and abuse prevention
Our hosting provider may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, referring page and pages visited for security, reliability and aggregate traffic measurement.
To reduce automated abuse of challenge creation and leaderboard submissions, Vibziq derives a short one-way hash from limited network/browser information. We do not store the raw IP address in the Vibziq rate-limit table. These abuse-prevention records are temporary and are automatically cleaned up after a short period.
Sharing
Challenge links are intentionally shareable. Anyone with a valid challenge link may be able to view the challenge name, quiz context, result and leaderboard. Do not use sensitive personal information as a nickname.
Practical rule: only use a name or nickname you would be comfortable seeing in a shared group chat.
